AUGUSTA, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team competed at the Shootout at Stonehedge, taking ninth place in a 12-team event, on Friday. The Saints played 27 holes on Friday due to the incoming weather on Saturday.

Nicholas Sanscrainte tied for sixth shooting 108. Rounding out the other scorers for the Saints were Aaron Bitz 120, James Monteith 121 and Drew Whelan 128.

Northwestern Ohio placed first with a team score of 429. Mott CC's Joe Montpas took place shooting a 104 on the 27 holes.

The Saints will travel to the Cleary University Invitational on Monday, April 16.
