Sanscrainte Named to All-Conference Second Team as Saints Finish Fifth In WHAC Standings

The Siena Heights men's golf team completed the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference schedule on Tuesday after the WHAC Jamboree No. 5. The Saints finished fifth overall out of the ten conference schools. 

The Saints total score through five conference Jamborees was 1570, good enough for a fifth place finish following Northwestern Ohio (1426), Lawrence Tech (1458), Madonna (1475) and Indiana Tech (1476) in first through fourth place respectively.

In the five WHAC Jamborees the Saints shot a 329, 309, 309, 325 and 298, to equal their 1570 total. 

Leading the Saints was Nicholas Sanscrainte who finished in ninth place overall individually in the conference season, which landed him on the second team All-Conference squad. Sanscrainte carded a total 371 through the five WHAC Jamborees.

Next up, the Saints will travel to compete in the Defiance Invitational in Perrysburg, Ohio on Oct. 19-20 to complete the 2017 season.
