DEFIANCE, Ohio -- The Siena Heights men's golf team traveled to compete in the Defiance Invitational at the par 71 Eagle Rock Golf Club. The Saints finished tied for eleventh out of 15 teams.

Siena Heights carded a team score of 321, tying with Muskegon and finishing one stroke behind tenth place Columbus State who shot a team 320. 

Aaron Bitz, Dominic Dimaya and Drew Whelan all finished with an 80. Rounding out the Saints' scoring was Nick Sanscrainte with an 81. Also playing for Siena Heights was Jimmy Monteith who carded an 83. 

Next up, the Saints will travel to Howell, Mich. to Chemung Hills Golf Club to compete in the Cleary Invitational on Monday, Sept. 25.
