Siena Heights men's golf junior Nick Sanscrainte was named an Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete for the 2016-17 season, as announced on Friday.
Sanscrainte is an accounting and finance major while earning a minor in business administration. In the NAIA, 144 men's golfers received this award.
In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
