ADA, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team finished 19th in the Egypt Valley Intercollegiate, on Tuesday, in a two-day, two-round tournament.
As a team, the Saints compiled a two-day score of 662 (335-327) on the Ridge Course at the Egypt Valley Golf Club. Winning-team, WHAC foe Madonna won with a two-round score of 583 (292-211).
Other Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference teams competing were Lawrence Tech--second (591, 296-295), Davenport--12th (631, 313-318), Cornerstone--16th (639, 320-319) and Aquinas--18th (660, 327-333).
Nick Sanscrainte was the top Siena Heights finisher, carding a 157 (81-76) two-day score. The first place finisher was Josh Dirlam from Lawrence Tech, finishing with 139 (69-70).
For SHU, Jimmy Monteith ended with a 166 (86-80) while fellow Saint Aaron Bitz finished with a 167 (76-91).
Rounding out the Saints scoring was Hunter Walsh, who carded a 173 (92-81).
Siena Heights will return to action on Monday, Oct. 10, at the Lourdes Invitational.
