Men's Golf Finishes Fourth in WHAC Championship

ADRIAN, Mich. -- Nicklaus Zanotti was the top finisher for the Siena Heights men's golf team in the 2016 WHAC Championship. As a team, the Saints finished fourth after the two-day, three-round tournament on Monday and Tuesday.

After two rounds on Monday the Saints sat in fifth place at 600, 13 strokes behind tournament leader Davenport (587). Also at 600 was Lawrence Tech. Sitting at second and third after two rounds was Northwestern Ohio (589) and Indiana Tech (591), respectively.

Zanotti tied for seventh place with 222 strokes (78-72-72) through three rounds.

Close behind was Ian Martin who tied for ninth after compiling a score of 223 (74-74-75).

Joe Forest carded 230 (74-83-73) after three rounds while Alex Kowalenko shot a 232 (78-73-81) to round out the Saints top four.

Siena moved up to fourth place after the third round, shooting an 898. Northwestern Ohio took first place, compiling an 884 and beating second place Davenport by seven strokes. Indiana Tech finished third with 895 strokes.
