Zanotti Finishes Third, Men's Golf Takes Fourth at Arnie's Invitational

ADA, Mich. -- Nicklaus Zanotti finished third individually, leading the Siena Heights men's golf team to a fourth-place finish at Arnie's Invitational, which was hosted by Taylor (Ind.) at Egypt Valley on Monday and Tuesday.

Zanotti finished the tournament with a two-round 148 (76-72), which included the low round of even-pary on day two. As a result, the Saints rose from ninth to fourth on the team scoreboard.

Ian Martin tied for the third-best round on day two, compiling a two-day 154 (80-74). He finished in a tie for ninth over the two days.

Also for the Saints, Tim Combs ended with a 159 (80-79) to tie for 29th and Robert Kowalenko carded a 166 (85-81) to place for 52nd.

Siena Heights accumulated a two-day total of 623 (317-306), finishing behind team champ Taylor (604), runner-up Holy Cross, Ind. (613) and third-place Davenport (614).

Davenport's Mitchell Wandell was the medalist with a 145 (70-75).

The Saints will return to competition on Saturday, Oct. 10, when they host the Siena Heights Fall Invitational.
