Men's Bowling Finishes Sixth and Women's Finishes Second at SHU Halo Classic

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's and women's bowling teams hosted the SHU Halo Classic on Saturday, September 22. The men's finished sixth out of nine teams with a total pin count of 6695. The women's team finished second out of six teams with 6328 pins.

Mitchell Rusinek led the men's team with 1127 pins to finished 11th in the individual standings. He was followed by teammate Ryan Reid in 20th with 1045 pins. Keith Reid tallied 943 pins for 25th. Shane Rusinek finished 29th with 863 pins while Travis Marcus was 34th (767 pins). Eric Lambert finished off the scoring for the Saints with 449 pins for 47th.

Tryna Gladstone missed the top spot by just 87 pins to finish fourth individually with 1109. KaCee Costello was ninth with 1006 total pins. Kendall Herron finished in the top 15 (13th) with 999. Tanishia Townsend downed 776 pins to finish in 22nd. Carly Scouten and Taylor Villasurda finished 25th (635) and 33rd (447) respectively.

Both teams compete next at the WHAC Jamboree #1 on Saturday, October 6.
