Men's Bowling Finishes 54th at Hoosier Classic

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Saints wrapped up the 2012-18 regular season by competing in the 2018 Hoosier Classic. The two-day event consists of six team games on Saturday, then 15 Baker games on Sunday. The top eight teams them compete in match play. The lane patterns bowled on are created by the managing company of the tournament, H2M Management, and are released an hour before tournament play begins. The scoring is always fair, but difficult.

On Saturday, the Saints had team scores of: 891, 972, 964, 857, 908, and 931. The total of 5523 put the team in 53rd place in the 78-team field after day one. Leading the way for the Saints during the individual portion of the tournament was Keith Reid. He shot 1161 for six games (193.5 avg.).

Sunday, the team bowled 15 Baker games in three, five-game blocks. The scores were: 841, 905, and 867. They ended the tournament in 54th place. We now wait for the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) to announce their Sectional assignments which will be live-streamed on BowlTV, Wednesday night at 6pm EST.

SHU's next tournament is the AHIBC Championships. Beaver-Vu Lanes in Beavercreek, Ohio is the host center on Sunday, March 25 at 9:00am.
