Men's Bowling Finishes Third at WHAC Jamboree #2

JACKSON, Mich. -- The Saints' Men's bowling team traveled to Jackson, Mich. to compete in the WHAC 2 Jamboree at Airport Lanes on Saturday. The team finished 3rd in the ten team field. The oil pattern for this tournament was from the 2015 European Champions Cup; it had a length of 39 feet.

The men set another school record with a total of 4,143 after the four team games (1014, 1016, 1044, 1069). They sat in 2nd place, only four pins behind UNOH. Unfortunately, the 16 Bakers games were a grind for the Saints, who finished in 3rd place (7,095 total) behind Concordia University. The Cardinals won the tournament with a total of 7,343.

There were two Saints that finished in the top five, and made the All-Tournament Team -- Joshua Criscenti averaged 220.75 over four games to find himself in 3rd place, and Shane Rusinek makes his first All-Tournament Team with a 215.75 average for four games to place fifth.

Two more Saints were in the top 25 -- Steven Cadwell averaged just over 200, with an 808 total during the individual portion to end the day tied for 15th, while Travis Marcus shoots a 798 which was good enough for 18th place the field of 114 bowlers. To wrap up the Saints scoring, Keith Reid averaged 206.50 for two games, and Mitchell Rusinek averaged 190 for his two games.

The Saints will be competing on Saturday, Dec. 2, at Fairlanes in Grandville, Mich. at the WHAC 3 Jamboree hosted by Cornerstone University. The start time is 8:30 a.m.
