Men's Bowling Finishes Fifth at AC Open

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's bowling finished fifth in the Adrian College Open, on Saturday.

After posting a team tournament-high 1018 for the team in game three, the Saints came in close behind University of Toledo and Lawrence Tech. Overall, Siena Heights had a total pin fall of 6767 while first place team Concordia finished with a total pin fall of 7060.

William Shaffran scored a total of 874 for the Saints to take home fourth place. In the third game, he scored his tournament-high 236, matching that score in the fourth game.

Only ten points behind was Joshua Criscenti who finished in fifth for Siena Heights. Also in the third frame, Criscenti earned a 266.

Coming in 12th place for the Saints was Steven Cadwell with a compiled score of 806. In 41st place for SHU was Zachary Colosimo, scoring a 642.

Also bowling for Siena Heights, Patrick Mulqueen bowled a 486 in three games. Payton White bowled the first games with a score of 131.

Siena Heights will be back in action on Saturday when the Saints travel to Comstock Park, Mich. for the Second WHAC Tournament.
