Tyler Hammond enters his fourth year on the Siena Heights men's basketball staff as an assistant coach. He is a 2014 graduate from Marietta College (Ohio).
At Marietta, Hammond was a standout from the beginning. He was the starting point guard for every game in his career. His freshman year, he won All-Region Rookie of the Year in the Great Lakes Region. He was a three time All-Conference selection in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
While playing for the Pioneers, Hammond made three appearances in the Sweet Sixteen at the NCAA Div. III Tournament.
In the 2014-15 season, Hammond was an assistant coach for Marietta. Under his watch, the Pioneers made it to the Elite Eight at the NCAA Div. III Tournament.
Hammond is currently working towards his Master's degree in Organizational Leadership.
