Men's Hoops Unable to Overcome Shooting Struggles vs Aquinas

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball team fell to WHAC conference opponent Aquinas, 65-50 on Wednesday. 

George Kalatzis led the Saints in scoring with 13 points while Nate Houston III added 11 points along with eight rebounds. 

SHU 5-18 (2-13) trailed 36-29 at halftime shooting 36.0% from the field and 16.7% from behind the arc in the first half. 

In the second half, the Saints' shooting struggles continued scoring 21 points while shooting 30.8% from the floor in the second half. 

On the evening, the Saints shot 29.2% from the field and 15.4% from behind the three-point line. 

The Saints will return to action on Saturday, Feb. 1, with a 1 p.m. EST game vs Michigan-Dearborn in WHAC action.
