Men's Hoops Comeback Bid Falls Short At Lawrence Tech

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball team's comeback bid fell short on Saturday in a 72-61 loss at WHAC opponent Lawrence Tech.

The Saints trailed by 18 points in the first half before closing to 48-44 in the second. The Blue Devils eventually pulled away with a 17-3 stretch.

Delano Williams led SHU with 19 points and five rebounds. Curtis Bell III added 14 points while Davin Walker had an all-around effort with 12 points, seven rebounds, seven steals, five assists and two blocks.

Blake Lund and Gunnar Gustafson scored 14 points each for LTU. Andrew Rinn had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

The Saints will return to play with WHAC home games on Wednesday and Saturday, beginning with an 8 p.m. game against Concordia.
