Men's Hoops Falls to Indiana South Bend

ADRIAN, Mich. -- Delano Williams scored a season-high 20 points, but the Siena Heights men's basketball team was unable to overcome a slow start in a 77-58 loss to non-conference opponent Indiana-South Bend on Thursday night.

Curtis Bell III added 12 rebounds and six blocks for the Saints (4-10), who had their two-game winning streak snapped.

The Titans (10-4) jumped out to a 9-2 lead and led the rest of the way. Kenny Washington had 18 points, leading a quartet of IUSB scorers in double-figures.

Siena Heights trailed by as many as 29 before closings its deficit to 20 late in the second half.

The Saints will return to action on Saturday with a noon non-conference home game against Spring Arbor.
