2017-2018 Men's Basketball Recap

The Siena Heights mens basketball team wrapped up their season with an overall record of 12-17 and 7-13 in Wolverine –Hoosier Athletic Conference play. The Saints finished seventh in the WHAC regular season and faced off against the second seed, and third nationally-ranked, Indiana Tech in the first round of the WHAC Tournament. SHU fell in the tournament quarterfinals to the Warriors and concluded the 2017-2018 season

Leading Siena Heights with an average of 14.9 points per game was senior Tony Jackson II earning him Most Valuable and Outstanding Player award. He also leads in shooting percentage, .538, rebounds per game, 8.0, and total blocks, 25.

The leading assist man for SHU was senior Nick Randle, dishing out 3.0 assists per game and 1.4 steals a game while earning 11.2 points.

Sophmore Keith Jordan Jr. was named Most Improved Player as he helped the Saints with 12.5 points and 5.7 boards on average, also adding 21 total blocks and 22 total steals.

Senior Trevor Holston was selected for the Al Sandifer Saints Spirit Award. He was also given the WHAC Champions of Character Award. Carter Drazga earned the Fred Smith Coaches Award
