#3 Indiana Tech Set to Host Men's Basketball in WHAC Tournament Quarterfinal

THE GAME
The Siena Heights men's basketball team is set to take on third-ranked Indiana Tech in a quarterfinal game of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament, on Wednesday. SHU enters as the seventh-seed, taking on the second-seed IN Tech at the Schaefer Center in Fort Wayne, Ind., at 7 p.m.

This season, Indiana Tech won both contests against the Saints with the closest contest on Nov. 18, 2017, as SHU fell by only three points, 73-70, on the Warriors home court. In January, Indiana Tech bested Siena Heights, 74-63, at SHU.

As a team, Siena Heights earns an average of 69.7 points per game. SHU holds a .453 shooting percentage, a .317 three-point shooting percentage and a .699 free throw percentage.

On average, the Warriors manage 80.6 points per game with a .483 shooting percentage, going .365 in three-pointer percentage and .737 in free throw percentage. Indiana Tech is also on a 12-game winning streak.

Admission to the WHAC Tournament games will be $7 for adults, $5 for seniors/students with ID and free for children 8 and younger.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
Leading Siena Heights with an average of 14.9 points per game is Tony Jackson II. He also leads in shooting percentage, .538, rebounds per game, 8.0, and total blocks, 25. The leading assist man for SHU is Nick Randle, dishing out 3.0 assists per game and 1.4 steals a game while earning 11.2 points. Keith Jordan Jr. has also helped the Saints with 12.5 points and 5.7 boards on average, also adding 21 total blocks and 22 total steals.

The Warriors are led by Darren Groves, who averages 15.2 points, 2.0 assists and 9.0 rebounds per game. Four other Warriors average double-digits per game: Dylan Phair, Max Huber, Nic Williams and Joel Wincowski. Wincowski also leads IN Tech in assists, 3.0, and steals, 2.0, per game.
