ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball team defeated Lourdes (Ohio) in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action, 71-61, during the senior night game on Saturday.

The Saints jumped out to an early lead in the regular season finale over the Gray Wolves and never looked back.

Leading the Saints with 24 points and eight rebounds was senior Jerrell Martin. Senior Lavario Smith finished the game with seven points and seven rebounds along with a block. Josh Winowiecki earned 17 points, seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals for SHU.

For the Gray Wolves, Najeeb Johnson and Levert Bristol ended with 20 and 19 points, respectively.

As a team, Siena Heights went 25-50 from the floor and 4-13 behind the arc. Lourdes went 23-49 overall and d5-15 in three point land. The Saints shot 17-21 from the charity stripe while LU went 10-14.

Next up, the Saints will travel for the first game of the WHAC Tournament for a Wednesday night contest.
