WHITING, Ind. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball team took on Calumet Saint Joseph and dropped the non-conference contest 74-69.

The Saints trailed the Crimson Wave, 34-27 at halftime and although SHU was able to outscore CCSJ in the second half, it was not enough to overcome the deficit.

Siena Heights was led by Chris Pearl with 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists. He was followed by Josh Winoweicki with 13 points and 13 rebounds which was a new career high on the glass.

Devin Harrison led the Wave with 18 points and six rebounds while Michael Brooks contributed 16 points. Darrick Scott finished with a double-double of 11 points and ten rebounds.

The Saints will be back in action on Wednesday, Jan. 4, when they host Aquinas in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m.
