ADRIAN, Mich. -- George Goodman scored 17 points while Jerrell Martin finished with 16 points, six rebounds and six blocks as the Siena Heights men's basketball team claimed a 75-61 victory over Judson (Ill.) during the Maple City Classic on Saturday.

Stone Beckwith added 11 points, Lee Gardner III made six rebounds and Eric Cogan dished five assists for the Saints (2-1).

Siena Heights closed the first half with seven consecutive points to take a 32-27 lead into halftime. The hosts led the rest of the way, enjoying a 15-4 stretch in the second to balloon their advantage to 57-36 with 11:42 to go.

For Judson (0-4), Will Woodhouse had 12 points while Drew Makiewicz contributed 10 points and seven rebounds. Illya Galloway added 10 boards.

In Saturday's earlier Maple City game, Lourdes (Ohio) defeated Akron-Wayne (Ohio), 90-35.

The Saints will return to action on Wednesday with a 7 p.m. non-conference game at Spring Arbor.
