Brady Tanguay and Izayah Newsom Earn MSFA All-Academic Honors for Third Year

FINDLAY, Ohio -- The Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) announced the MSFA All-Academic honorees over the holiday weekend. Brady Tanguay and Izayah Newsom highlighted the 10 Saint selections to the all-academic team. Tanguay and Newsom were the only two members of the Siena Heights football team that made the list for the third time.

The MSFA All-Academic team consisted of 196 student-athletes that include one graduate level student-athlete, 61 seniors, 61 juniors, and 63 sophomores that all had a minimum 3.2 GPA.

Joining Tanguay and Newsom on the list are two-time honorees Adam Glanders, Jerrold King, Brock Quinlan, and Jarrad Whited. The first-time selections for the Saints were Justin Carrabino, Andrew Loria, EJ Shaah, and Austin Krider.

The Saints wrapped up a historic 2018 campaign in which the team finished with seven wins for the first time since the program started in 2012. The complete list of MSFA All-Academic honorees can be found by clicking the link provided below.
