Jared Jordan Earns MSFA Mideast League Offensive Player of the Week

ADRIAN, Mich. -- Redshirt-freshman Jared Jordan was tabbed the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Mideast League Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office.

Jordan had a stellar week as he led the Siena Heights football team to its first 4-0 start to the season after he tallied 14 rushes for 176 yards and three touchdowns in the 38-27 win over St. Francis (Ill.) last Saturday.

The Grosse Point Woods, Michigan native has been part of the Saints rushing one-two punch this year along with senior D'aries Davis. Jordan has been given 49 touches and gained 296 yards on the ground this season. His six yards per carry average is currently the most on the team and he has scored six of the Saints nine rushing touchdowns this year, including three this past weekend.

This is the first player of the week award for Jordan in his career. As well as, the first for the Siena Heights football team this season.

The Saints are on a bye week this week before they host Taylor (Ind.) on Saturday, October 6 at 4:00 p.m., ET, for the 2018 Siena Heights Homecoming game.
