Siena Heights senior defensive back Darius Price was the top vote recipient in the NAIA for the Cliff Harris Award, as announced on Saturday, which is awarded to the top defensive players in NCAA Div. II, Div. III and the NAIA. Price is the first Saint to receive this award.
Price (6-2, 215) was recently named AFCA-NAIA First Team All-American, MSFA Mideast League Defensive Player of the Year and a rare four-time All-MSFA Mideast League selection. He collected 41 tackles, nine pass break ups, two fumble recoveries and a sack for the Saints in 2017.
