Football's Flack Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

Siena Heights football redshirt-junior safety Zachary Flack was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Football team for district 1, as announced by the association recently.

Flack holds a 3.43 grade-point average as he double majors in spanish and business adminstration. The Macomb, Mich. native started all 10 games for the Saints while ranking fourth on the team in tackles. He ended the season with 52 total tackles, 27 unassisted and 25 assisted, including 2.5 tackles for a loss of six yards. He managed three pass breakups and a forced fumble in the secondary.

In order to be elligible for this award, a student-athlete must be of sophomore academic status or above while holding a 3.3 grade-point average or above. This student-athlete must also play a significant part into the team's success for the season.

Siena Heights ended their season with a 5-5 overall record while going 3-3 in the Mid-States Football Association Mideast League.
