#14 Concordia Shuts Out Football in Regular Season Finale

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Siena Heights football team fell 37-0 in the regular season finale to No. 14 Concordia in Mid-States Football Association Mideast League Action, on Saturday.

Starting the scoring in the first quarter, CUAA (9-1, 5-1 MSFA MEL) quarterback Seth Suida had a 14-yard touchdown pass to Donte Desalle. A failed Cardinal extra point made the score 6-0 with 6:57 remaining in the first quarter. Suida and Desalle connected again with a 32-yard touchdown reception, this time with a successful Joshua Kukulies PAT to make it 13-0.

In the second quarter Knukulies converted a field goal and Desalla caught another pass from Suida to end the first half, 23-0.

To start the second half, Joe Conner scored a touchdown on a one-yard rush with 12:26 on the clock in the third quarter. The final score of the night came in the fourth quarter with 14:56 on the clock, Tyler Fehler making a 14-yard run into the end zone.

For the Saints' offense, quarterback Ryan Brennan threw for 101 yards, connecting with Braelen Bader for a team-leading 45 yards. On the ground, D'aries Davis ran for 22 yards in 12 rushing attempts. The CUAA quarterback Suida threw for 178 yards. Desalle brought in four passes for 94 yards. Running back Conner ran for 79 yards in 22 attempts.

On defense, Nick Stalworth led SHU with 15 tackles, including eight solo tackles. E.J. Shaah earned a sack for a loss of 14 yards, along with six other tackles. The Cardinals' Andrew O'Hara had a team leading seven tackles while Kaleb Pohlman had four tackles, including a 19-yard sack.

Siena Heights concludes their regular season record with a 5-5 overall record and 3-3 in the MSFA Mideast League.
