Football Headed to Taylor on Saturday
THE GAME
The Siena Heights football team will travel to Upland, Ind. to take on Taylor in a Mid-States Football Association Mideast League contest. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. at Turner Stadium. The Saints look to improve their current record or 3-2 overall and 2-2 in MSFA Mideast League play.

The Saints are coming off of a 24-22 loss to 5th-ranked Saint Francis (Ind.). With 6:48 remaining in the game, the Saints too the lead 22-21 over the Cougars. A strong SHU defense held the Cougars to a field goal with 2:26 left on the game clock. Siena Heights was unable to generate a first down as the Cougars handed them their second loss of the season.

In the 2015 contest, Siena Heights fell to the visiting Cougars 63-21 in the SHU 2015 Homecoming game. Taylor outrushed SHU, 288-255, and outpassed the Saints 254-171 in the 2015 match-up.

SHSN will provide live video for each Saints' home game. Play-by-play will be called by Chris Renwick with Doug Goodnough providing color commentary. Renwick is in his first year with the Saints broadcast team while Goodnough resumes his role in SHSN after a year break.

SHSN and WLEN 103.9 FM have also enjoyed a five-year partnership. All games will be audio-streamed online at WLEN.COM while select games will be broadcasted live on the radio.

Siena Heights will host Olivet Nazarene in a Mid-States Football Association crossover contest on Saturday, Oct. 22, for a 1 p.m. kickoff.

Olivet Nazarene is currently 2-4 overall and 1-1 in the MSFA Midwest League. The Tigers are set to face Missouri Baptist in a MSFA crossover contest on Saturday, Oct. 15, prior to visiting the Saints.
