Siena Heights kicker Brock Quinlan received weekly MSFA honors, as announced by the conference on Monday. The sophomore was named Mid-States Football Association Mideast League Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts in the 38-10 victory over Missouri Baptist.
The Toledo, Ohio native made a career-long 41 yard field goal for the first score of the game. The 41 yard make ties Quinlan for the SHU Longest Field Goal record. Victor Bey kicked a 41 yard field goal in the 2013 season.
Quinlan went 2-2 in extra points and averaged 59.4 yards per kickoff, with his longest kickoff as 65 yards. His eight kickoffs went a total of 475 yards, including three touchbacks.
