Devers and Fultz Named 2017-18 NAIA Scholar-Athletes

Siena Heights cheerleader Alicia Devers and dancer Lauren Fultz each were named 2017-18 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete, as announced by the NAIA.

Devers majors in creative writing with a minor in art while Fultz majors in nursing. In the NAIA, 86 competitive cheer student-athletes and 58 dance student athletes were recognized.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
