Siena Heights senior dancer Olivia Smith was named one of the 2016-17 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes for the second year in a row.

Smith, a fine arts major, is being presented this award for her skills she has portrayed in the classroom.

The NAIA not only wants to recognize athletes on the floor but also in the classroom. 50 dancers were recognized and to be nominated the athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 and have achieved junior academic status.
