Dance Finishes Eighth at the Inaugural NAIA Championships

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- The Siena Heights dance team earned eighth place at the inaugural NAIA Cheer & Dance Championships, on Friday.

The Saints improved from their ninth place preliminary round performance. SHU scored a 70.50 in the preliminary round and 78.35 in the finals for an overall score of 76.40 points. Siena Heights climbed over Missouri Baptist who earned an overall score of 76.18 points.

Midland (Neb.) won the National Title with a total score of 91.38 points as WHAC competitor Aquinas was the runner-up with 86.63 points.
