Dance Finishes Runner-Up, CCSJ Wins East Region at SHU; Fultz, Soave Named All-America

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights competitive dance team placed second at the NAIA East Regional on Saturday at the SHU Fieldhouse, finishing behind team champion Calumet Saint Joseph (Ind.).

The Saints earned the second seed in preliminaries with a score of 94.333 and then remained in that spot through finals with a score of 97.667.

In solo competition, SHU's Lauren Fultz and Madeline Soave earned All-America honors while Lauren Nowak was recognized as an All-America honorable mention.

The Siena Heights competitive cheerleading team placed third at the NAIA East Regional on Saturday at the SHU Fieldhouse, finishing behind team champion Concordia and second-place Lindenwood-Belleville (Mo.).
