Cheerleading 2018 Season Recap

The Siena Heights cheerleading team finished the season with a perfect routine at the 2018 NAIA Cheer & Dance Northeast Regional Qualifier to earn seventh place. Seven cheerleaders also earned post-season awards.

The Most Improved Performer of the season was Megan Serin while the Coach's Award went to Dannica Hoskins.

Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference honors went to Kaileah Sweet, earing Second Team, while All-Academic honors went to Jessie Barnhart, Alicia Devers and Lucielle Gould. The WHAC Champion of Character recipient was Samantha Wright.

Devers was also a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete for the 2018 season.

Both the cheer and dance teams volunteered many hours of service to the Hope Center, raising over $300 for the Hunter Brooks Hope Center Transportation Fund.
