Cheerleading Takes Fifth in the Halo Classic

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights cheer team hosted the Halo Classic, on Sunday, with five teams in the competition.

SHU fell short, earning fifth place with a score of 66.17 only trailing Adrian by less than one point, finishing with a 66.93. Winning the competition with a score of 79.13 was fellow WHAC member Lourdes (Ohio). Aquinas was the runner-up with a 75.47 as Point Park managed third with a 71.65.

Next up, Siena Heights will travel to Grand Rapids, Mich. To compete in the Saints Showdown, hosted by Aquinas.
