ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Siena Heights senior cheerleader Kortney Ouellette was awarded the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Cheerleader of the Year, as announced by the league recently.

Ouellette is the first Siena Heights cheerleader to receive this honor as the Saints finished their second season competing in the WHAC. She was also the lone Saint on the All-Conference First Team and was named to the WHAC Champions of Character Team.

Joining the All-WHAC Academic Team was Ouellette, senior Safiya Best and junior Kara Morley.
