Baseball Falls In Finale of Warner Tournament

The Siena Heights Baseball Team lost their final game of the Warner Tournament to the host school on Saturday by a score of 20-4.

The Saints took the lead early scoring two in the first before seeing the lead cut in half in the second.  The top of the third saw the Saints extend the lead back to two, but the bottom of the third saw eight runs for Warner who didn't look back.  The Saints scored their final run in the sixth.

Freddy Jehle had a 3-3 game, Carson Wlad added two RBI, and Nate Fryz had two hits and a RBI to pace the Saints offense.  Erich Klingelhofer started and took the loss on the mound allowing nine runs, but only two earned runs in his three innings of work.

The Saints will return home from their Florida trip with a record of 6-12.  They will return to action on Saturday March 18th when they host Marygrove for a WHAC doubleheader.
