Based upon his versatility, statistics and longevity in the game, Matt Pike is the most talented baseball player to have ever played for the Saints. During his four-year career at Siena Heights, he played nearly every position and excelled no matter where he played.
Pike remains among the all-time leaders in virtually every offensive statistic for the Saints. He ranks second all-time in batting average (.340), base hits (206), runs scored (161), home runs (25), run batted in (141) and doubles (48).
