569 Siena Heights student athletes earned a 2.93 GPA in the winter semester of 2019.
Leading the way in the classroom was the women's golf team with a 3.48 GPA, followed by the women's volleyball team with a 3.45 GPA, and the women's soccer team with a 3.44 GPA. Rounding out the top five was the softball team with a 3.43 GPA and the women's bowling team with a 3.41 GPA.
Seven of the nine women's teams earned a 3.0 GPA or higher with an aggregate GPA of 3.20. On the men's side, the men's bowling team lead the way with a 3.16 GPA followed by the men's soccer team with a 3.14 GPA, and the men's cross country team with a 3.09 GPA. The men's golf team also earned a 3.00 GPA. The aggregate men's GPA was a 2.74.
With the three co-ed sports, the dance team earned a 3.33 GPA followed by the cheer team with a 3.03 GPA, and eSports with a 2.88 GPA.
The cumulative GPA for all Siena Heights student-athletes over the course of their academic careers stands at 3.07 overall. Leading the way on the overall career GPA is the women's golf team with a 3.51 GPA followed by the softball team with a 3.48 GPA and the women's soccer team with a 3.43 GPA. The men's soccer team is the highest men's team with a 3.31 cumulative career GPA. The women's cumulative career GPA stands at 3.29, the men's cumulative career GPA stands at 2.91, and the co-ed cumulative career GPA stands at 3.18.
